Special-Magnum

A prestigious magnum from Ben Nun Winery’s special series, 2020 vintage – very limited edition. A boutique French-style blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Marselan, and 10% Merlot from the winery’s select parcels. The grapes were hand-selected and harvested in the vineyard. The wine was aged for 18 months in fine French oak barrels. It is balanced, approachable, with a Bordeaux hue, fruity character, pronounced body, and the structure to continue aging. The Marselan (a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache) adds significant complexity to the traditional Cabernet-Merlot blend. Flavors of cherry and cassis are fresh and well-defined, with fine tannins. The wine will continue to develop in the bottle, enhancing its complexity over the coming years.
